Find your old PowerPoint templates, FAST!

We’ve all been there, frantically searching old PowerPoint slides and PowerPoint templates for content that we’ve already spent hours creating,in the hopes avoiding unnecessary and mind-numbing rework.

Unless you have a photographic memory, it can take scrolling through multiple presentations or folders to find what you are looking for. Luckily, PowerPoint has created a new feature in PowerPoint 2019 and PowerPoint 365 that lets users quickly and easily see their old presentations across their computer, OneDrive, Sharepoint or corporate folders.

1. How to access and reuse old slides in PowerPoint

When in PowerPoint click, the Home tab and select Reuse Slides

A sidebar will appear, allowing users to view most recently used files or search for presentations on your computer, OneDrive and/or Sharepoint.

You can view the individual slide detail within a presentation by simply clicking on a presentation to view its detail and scroll through the presentation. Once a slide is found, click on the slide or select Insert Slide to include into the current presentation.

Reuse slides is a great new feature to PowerPoint that can help you easily sort through old content on your computer, OneDrive or Sharepoint and find the perfect PowerPoint template or slide for your new presentation.
